Caple Software Solutions

CapleSoft was founded in 2009 by Bill Caple, a software industry executive with significant experience in the content management and storage software space. In the mid 1990's, Mr Caple built and grew a notably successful software comapny OTG Software (formerly NASDAQ: OTGS). That company's technology has been part of tech giant EMC since 2003.

Over the past few years, Mr Caple has been working with various technology and software companies and has cemented strong relationships with ASG (Allen Systems Group) Software and Seven 10 Storage Software. CapleSoft is now offering ASG and Seven 10 products and solutions for resale by the VAR community.

                                                                                      

ASG--Headquartered in Mr Caple's backyard of Naples, FL, ASG is one of the largest privately owned software companies in the world, having been founded by its CEO Art Allen over 20 years ago. The company has over 1,000 employees and more than 70 offices worldwide. 

In early 2009, after years of being acquainted with ASG and Mr Allen, Mr Caple struck a deal for CapleSoft to build the first North American indirect reseller channel for ASG. For the past two decades, ASG has enjoyed a very successful direct sale focus to Global 5000 enterprises, with such customers as American Express, Coca-Cola, General Electric, Sony, Toyota, Wells Fargo, etc. With the CapleSoft deal, ASG technology will now be able to reach far beyond the enterprise market into the SME (small and medium enterprises) with offerings and price points that are unrivaled by ASG's traditional competitors, IBM, CA, HP, and BMC.

seven10--Mr Caple has secured a strong relationship with Seven 10 Storage of Boston, MA, the leading provider of next generation enterprise storage and archive solutions. The founders and management of Seven 10 previously worked with Mr Caple at OTG after OTG purchased their former company in 2001.

Seven 10's solutions are revolutionizing long term archiving and storage management, utilizing a file system-based platform that scales to the exabyte levels and makes all storage hardware and systems work heterogeneously. While still an emerging technology, Seven 10 has obtained such customer wins as American Express, The Smithsonian Institution, Mayo Clinic, State of California, etc.
